Team project at Artisans

A game in the back-office catalogue, synced from IGDB

The brief

A marketplace where gamers trade and sell their games, with a moderated catalogue, offers, and push notifications when a deal lands.

Peer-to-peer game trading needs trust to work: a clean catalogue, a real offer flow, and someone watching the marketplace, not a chat group and good luck.

A catalogue that syncs itself

Titles, art and metadata sync from the RAWG/IGDB APIs, so listings attach to real games instead of typos.

Moderation before money moves

Every listing passes through the back office. A moderated catalogue is what makes peer-to-peer trading trustworthy.

Offers land as push, instantly

The Arabic mobile app carries browsing, offers and swaps, and Firebase push tells a player the moment a deal lands. 48 live offers on one title.

The hard part

Syncing a game catalogue from the RAWG/IGDB APIs; an offer / counter-offer trading flow; Firebase push the moment an offer arrives; and a Pest suite of 69 tests / 221 assertions on the Laravel API.
